Welcome

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim

Assalamu Alaikum,

Inshallah every month I write 2 newsletters for my brothers and sisters of Islam. They are just simple reminders to myself as well as everyone else, I am no perfect person, I make mistakes too, so we should remind ourselves about what is right and what is wrong.

What I have written here are all from past newsletters that I have created since February 2007.

This information blog is only used for learning purposes,
You can share with whom you like, that way it can get across
to many inshallah, All praises is due to Allah for giving me this opportunity to write to my fellow brothers and sisters of
Islam, and trying to point out things that we may of forgotten about.

Your Brother In Islam

Islamic Information Blog - Issue 13

Assalaamu Alaikum brothers and sisters of Islam, I'm really sorry for not writing another issue earlier, we are only human and get too busy, but InshaAllah I will do my best to do more of theses issues and Alhamdulillah we will start again from issue 13

Narrated By Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's
Apostle saying." By Allah! I ask for
forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in
repentance more than seventy times a day."
Bukhari

70 times a day?, SubhanAllah and if we were to look at ourselves and look at how
many times we sin a day, do we really ask for forgiveness?
We are only human and Allah knows we will sin, but how Merciful is He just to forgive us?
We could of sinned all our lives but if we are willing to improve our life and do better for
the sake of Allah and then repent to Him, If Allah wills all of those sins that we did,

But why are we too lazy to ask forgiveness? Whether intentionally or unintentionally, why
do we wait until when we feel like to ask forgiveness? Do it as soon as possible, do not delay, because the main point that we all learn in this life is that we can die any time now, whether you are young or old, InshaAllah this is your chance now, if you remember something that you did, dont wait till you have finished reading my information book, ask for forgiveness now, this book
inshaAllah will be around for as long as it can be whether online, on your pc or on paper, but the more you wait to ask for forgiveness, you may regret it, especially if its your time to leave this world.

Narrated By Anas bin Malik: Allah's
Apostle said, "Allah is more pleased
with the repentance of His slave than
anyone of you is pleased with finding
his camel which he had lost in the
desert."
Bukhari

ARE YOU READY?

If you thought that this life will be the only one, you are strongly mistaken, if you think that the next life will be great, InshaAllah, it can be for us all, but we still need to work hard to get to Jannah. Jannah is nothing like on this world, Hell-fire is nothing like on this world, but what do we really want? Ask yourself if I want Jannah, what should I do? One thing just calling yourself a Muslim will not get you there, we have to do what Allah has asked us to do, praying 5 times a day is one of them, loving your brothers and sisters for the sake of Allah is another, pratising the religion by the Quran and Sunnah and not culture is another, doing what is right and forbid what is wrong is another. Remember Islam isnt just a religion is a 24/7 way of life, there is no holiday from praying, if you want the best in the next life, this is the only time you will be rewarded for what you have done, so decide what you want in the next life now and improve on yourself, not for my sake, you don't have to impress me because I have to do what you have to do as a Muslim, I'm not promised Paradise either, but for us all, we work hard in this life and follow the Quran and the the teachings of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) then If Allah wills we can go to Paradise.

THE GRAVE

Did you ever think you will live forever? Again many people in this world may think "nothing
can touch them" because they have money, houses, cars, you name it, they have it, but when we die, every single one of us will have only one thing with us, and that is our deeds. Remember right now has you read this, Kiraman Katibeen, the recording angels are writing your deeds, on your right one angel is recording your good deeds and on the left the other angel is recording your bad deeds, and theses deeds will be with you in the grave.

Narrated By Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's
Apostle said, "When anyone of you dies,
he will be shown his destination both in
the morning and in the evening, and if he
belongs to the people of Paradise, he will
be shown his place in Paradise, and if he
is from the people of Hell, he will be shown
his place in Hell."
Bukhari

How many times do we need to be told, that Islam is the truth and we need to take this religion seriously, this life is only a blink of an eye whereas the next life will last forever and you can not change anything in the next life. Allah has told us in the Quran that He wants us to do good, SubhanAllah He has given us so many ways to worship Him, to get good deeds from Him, to make Him pleased with us, but we are too lazy to be grateful.

Narrated By Anas: The Prophet said,
"When a human being is laid in his
grave and his companions return and
he even hears their foot steps, two
angels come to him and make him sit
and ask him: What did you use to say
about this man, Muhammad ? He will
say: I testify that he is Allah's slave
and His Apostle. Then it will be said
to him, 'Look at your place in the
Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place
in Paradise instead of it.' " The
Prophet added, "The dead person will
see both his places. But a non-believer
or a hypocrite will say to the angels,
'I do not know, but I used to say what
the people used to say! It will be said
to him, 'Neither did you know nor did
you take the guidance (by reciting
the Quran).' Then he will be hit with
an iron hammer between his two
ears, and he will cry and that cry will
be heard by whatever approaches
him except human beings and jinns."
Bukhari

Only Allah guides who He wills, May Allah guide you, May Allah give me, May Allah guide the Ummah, May Allah guide the non-Muslims Ameen

JazakAllah Khair for being patience with me
